How to Install IPTV on Firestick (No Jailbreak)

Installing IPTV on a Firestick does not require a jailbreak, root access, or any special technical skills. All it takes is the Downloader app and a few minutes of your time. This guide covers the complete process from start to finish, including enabling the necessary setting and entering your IPTV Ruya credentials.

What You Need Before Starting

Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

• An Amazon Firestick (any generation) connected to your TV
• A working Wi-Fi connection
• Your IPTV Ruya subscription credentials (M3U URL or Xtream Codes login) received via WhatsApp

Step 1: Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

By default, Firestick only allows apps from the Amazon Appstore. To install IPTV apps, you need to change one setting:

1. From the Firestick home screen, go to Settings
2. Select My Fire TV
3. Select Developer Options
4. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

This is a standard setting that Amazon provides for exactly this purpose. It does not modify your device in any permanent way.

Step 2: Install the Downloader App

Downloader is a free app available directly in the Amazon Appstore:

1. From the Firestick home screen, press the search icon (magnifying glass)
2. Type Downloader and press the search key
3. Select the Downloader app from the results and install it
4. Open Downloader once installation is complete

Step 3: Enter Your IPTV App Code

Downloader uses short numerical codes to fetch and install apps. Choose one of the following:

In the Downloader URL bar, type the code (e.g. 272483) and press Go. Downloader will find and install the app automatically.

Step 4: Enter Your IPTV Ruya Credentials

Once the app is installed, open it and set up your playlist:

1. Open TiviMate or BOB Player
2. Select Add Playlist or M3U URL
3. Paste the M3U link or enter the Xtream Codes username and password you received from IPTV Ruya via WhatsApp
4. Wait for the channel list to load

Step 5: Start Watching

Once your credentials are entered, the app will display your full content library. Browse by category — sports, movies, series, news, kids content and international programmes are all available. The EPG guide (where supported) shows current and upcoming programming for easy navigation.
